# BitBucket Cloud

The **BitBucket Cloud** integration allows security and compliance teams to automate continuous infrastructure monitoring and evidence collection. It connects WatchDog Security to BitBucket Cloud so your team can perform read-only audits of your cloud environment.

WatchDog operates in **read-only mode** and does **not modify configuration settings** within your BitBucket Cloud environment.

## Prerequisites & Data Access
Before connecting the integration, ensure the following:

- You have **administrator access** to the BitBucket Cloud account
- You're an **Account Owner** or **Security Admin** in the WatchDog Security portal

## Step 1 — Connect the Integration in WatchDog

1. Log into the **WatchDog Security Portal**
2. Navigate to **Management** → **Integrations**
3. Locate **BitBucket**
4. Click Connect

Once the connection is successful, WatchDog will begin synchronizing data from **BitBucket Cloud**.

## Step 2 — Authorize the Integration

After authorization is completed, you will be redirected back to WatchDog Security automatically.

You will be redirected to the **BitBucket Cloud authorization page**.

1. Select the **BitBucket Cloud**
2. Review the permissions requested by WatchDog
3. Click **Allow** to approve the connection

WatchDog will then establish a secure OAuth connection to your BitBucket Cloud environment.

## Initial Sync

## Troubleshooting

Verify the following:

- You are logged in with a **BitBucket Cloud administrator account**
- OAuth applications are permitted within your BitBucket Cloud environment
- The browser was not blocked from completing the OAuth redirect

- Wait for the initial synchronization to complete
- Verify the integration shows **Connected** in WatchDog
- Disconnect and reconnect the integration if necessary
