# Manage Two Factor Authentication

Control your two-factor authentication (2FA) settings to secure your account.

## Remove Two Factor Authentication

<Steps>
<Step title="Sign in to WatchDog Security">
  Sign in to the [**WatchDog Security Platform**](app.watchdogsecurity.io).

<Step title="Open Settings">
  Navigate to **User Profile** > **Settings**.
</Step>

<Step title="Select Security Tab">
  Click on the **Security** tab within the Settings page.
</Step>

<Step title="Remove Device">
  Click **Remove Device** under the Two Factor Authentication section.
</Step>

## What Happens Next

<TipInfo>You are immediately logged out after removing your 2FA device.</TipInfo>
<TipInfo>You are required to configure 2FA on your next login.</TipInfo>
<TipInfo>Your account remains protected by enforced 2FA setup.</TipInfo>
