# Revoke a User Invitation

This article explains how to revoke an invitation for a user who has been invited to the MSP Portal but has not yet completed account setup. Revoking an invite permanently invalidates the invitation link.

Only users with the **Delete Users** permission can revoke user invitations

Revoked invitations cannot be restored. To grant access again, the user must be invited as a new user.

# Revoke a User Invitation
To cancel a pending invitation and prevent the user from joining the MSP, follow the steps below:

        From the account context switcher, select the MSP Portal
      </Step>

        From the Left Hand Navigation Menu, select **Users**
      </Step>
      <Step>
        Select the **Invited** Tab
      </Step> 
       <Step>
        (Optional) Under **Node,** select the node the user belongs under
      </Step>
       <Step>
        Locate the invited user.
      </Step>
       <Step>
        In the **Actions** column, click the **⋮ (Actions Menu)**.
      </Step>
       <Step>
        Select **Revoke Invite**.
      </Step>
       <Step>
        Confirm the action.
      </Step>
    </Steps>

The invitation is revoked immediately, and the user can no longer complete signup.
