🚀

Highlights#

This release introduces a new sign-in experience with Google, Microsoft, and email-code sign-in, the option for admins to require MFA across their workspace, and support for multiple workspaces under one account. It also gives Security Admins full billing access, delivers a redesigned checkout and license management experience, and fixes several licensing, billing, and MSP Portal issues.

Sign In with Google, Microsoft, or an Email Code#

Signing in to WatchDog Security is now faster and more flexible. Along with your password, you can now sign in with your Google or Microsoft account, or with a one-time code sent to your email.

Multiple Workspaces in One Account#

You can now create and belong to multiple workspaces under a single WatchDog Security account, and move between them without signing out.

Switch between WatchDog and MSP workspaces from the workspace selector
One sign-in gives you access to all of your workspaces
Accept workspace invitations as part of the sign-in flow

⚡ Improvement#

Billing Management for Security Admins#

Security Admins can now manage billing and purchase subscriptions directly, without needing the Account Owner to step in.

Checkout & License Management Experience#

The checkout and license management views have been redesigned to make purchasing and assigning licenses faster and more intuitive.

What Changed#

Checkout now takes place within the Settings page instead of a separate popup
Safeguards prevent the Settings page from being closed by accident during checkout
Checkout adapts to your plan, whether monthly or annual, with an active or expired trial
Refreshed license assignment dropdown in the People and Licenses tabs
Bulk license assignment now takes place within the Settings page
Updated seat confirmation for annual subscriptions

Two-Factor Authentication Management#

Managing two-factor authentication is now simpler, with backup codes and 2FA removal combined into a single window.

Access Screens for Administrators#

When an Account Owner or Security Admin opens a feature they are not licensed for, they are now guided to assign themselves the right package rather than being asked to request a license. End users continue to see the existing request-a-license screen.

🐞 Bug Fixes#

Compliance Participant Seats#

Assigning a Compliance Manager license to more than one user on monthly or trial plans now correctly increases the number of available Compliance Participant seats.

Annual Billing License Count#

Purchasing multiple licenses partway through an annual subscription now adds the full number of licenses purchased.

General Stability Improvements#

The Employee Management page is now only accessible from within Settings, and unused pages have been removed to improve navigation and consistency.
