    Atlassian Cloud Admin

The Atlassian Cloud Admin integration allows security and compliance teams to automate continuous infrastructure monitoring and evidence collection. It connects WatchDog Security to Atlassian Cloud Admin so your team can perform read-only audits of your cloud environment.
WatchDog operates in read-only mode and does not modify configuration settings within your Atlassian Cloud Admin environment.

    Prerequisites & Data Access#

Before connecting the integration, ensure the following:
You have administrator access to the Atlassian Cloud Admin account
You're an Account Owner or Security Admin in the WatchDog Security portal

Step 1 — Generate a Atlassian Cloud Admin Personal Access Token#

You can generate an API token directly from the Atlassian Cloud Admin dashboard.
    1.
Log into the Atlassian Administration Console
    2.
Navigate to: Organization Settings → API Keys
    3.
    Click Create API Key
    4.
Under Before you begin, select API key with scopes and click Next
    5.
Under Name API Key, enter a descriptive name and choose an expiration date
    6.
Under Select Scopes, filter Scope Actions to display read scopes, and select all available scopes
    7.
Click Create API Key and make note of the Organization ID and API Key
You can't recover the API token after you’re done with this step.
Once the API key expires you will be required to regenerate an API key to allow WatchDog to continue monitoring your Atlassian Cloud Admin instance
For additional guidance, see Atlassian's official documentation

Step 2 — Connect the Integration in WatchDog#

    1.
Log into the WatchDog Security Portal
    2.
    Navigate to Management → Integrations
    3.
    Locate Atlassian Cloud Admin
    4.
    Click Connect
    5.
Paste the generated Organization ID and API Key
    6.
    Click Connect Integration
Once the connection is successful, WatchDog will begin synchronizing data from Atlassian Cloud Admin.

    Initial Sync#

    After the integration is connected
WatchDog will begin collecting data from Atlassian Cloud Admin
The first synchronization typically completes within 5–10 minutes
Data will appear within the following modules
    Posture Management
    Inventory
    Compliance Center

    Troubleshooting#

    Integration Fails to Connect
