Add a User

This article explains how to add a new user to the MSP Portal. Users are invited by email and must complete account setup before gaining access.
Required Permissions
Only users with the Add Users permission can add users

Add a User#

Email addresses cannot be changed after creation
To grant a new user access to the MSP Portal and assign their role, follow the steps below:
MSP Portal

Sign in to the WatchDog MSP Portal

From the account context switcher, select the MSP Portal

From the Left Hand Navigation Menu, select Users

Click Add → Add User.

(Optional) Under Node, select the node the user belongs under

Enter the user’s first name , last name , and email.

Select an Application Role.

Click Add User.
An invitation email is sent immediately.
