Delete a User

This article explains how to delete a user from the MSP Portal. Deleting a user immediately removes their access to all MSP nodes and managed companies.
Required Permissions
Only users with the Delete Users permission can delete users
Deleting a user is permanent and cannot be undone. If the user was the only administrator for a node, ensure another user is assigned before deletion.

Delete a User#

To permanently remove a user from the MSP Portal and revoke their access, follow the steps below:

Sign in to the WatchDog MSP Portal

From the account context switcher, select the MSP Portal

From the Left Hand Navigation Menu, select Users

Select the Users Tab

(Optional) Under Node, select the node the user belongs under

Locate the user you want to delete.

In the Actions column, click the ⋮ (Actions Menu).

Select Remove.

Confirm the deletion action.
The user is removed immediately and access is revoked.
