This article explains how to edit a custom role in the MSP Portal. Roles can only be edited within the node they were created in.Only users with the Modify Roles permission can update custom roles
Users assigned to the role will have their access updated automatically.
Edit a Role#
To modify an existing role’s permissions or configuration within the MSP Portal, follow the steps below:2
From the account context switcher, select the MSP Portal

From the Left Hand Navigation Menu, select Users

(Optional) Under Node, select the node the role belongs under

Locate the role you want to update.

In the Actions column, click the ⋮ (Actions Menu).

Update the role as required:
