This article explains how to reset a user’s 2FA configuration in the MSP Portal. This is typically required if a user loses access to their authenticator device.Only users with the Modify Users permission can update users
The user will be prompted to re-enable 2FA on their next login.
Reset a User’s 2FA#
To clear a user’s multi-factor authentication setup so they can reconfigure it on next sign-in, follow the steps below:2
From the account context switcher, select the MSP Portal

From the Left Hand Navigation Menu, select Users

(Optional) Under Node, select the node the user belongs under

In the Actions column, click the ⋮ (Actions Menu).
The user’s 2FA configuration is reset immediately.
