Create Drop Zone

Create a secure drop zone to share and collect files.
Who can use this feature?
All Account Owners, Security Admins and End Users
Available on the Core and Business plans

Overview#

The Create Drop Zone feature allows you to set up a secure workspace for file exchange. You can define access, messaging, and expiration settings.

Create Drop Zone#

Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.

Open Secure File Exchange
Navigate to Secure File Exchange from the main navigation menu.

Create Drop Zone
Click Create Drop Zone to start a new drop zone.

Configure Details
Enter a name, optional message, and configure expiration settings.

Create Zone
Click Create to finalize the drop zone.

What Happens Next#

The drop zone becomes active immediately.
You can begin uploading files and sharing access.
The drop zone remains active until it expires or is deleted.

Troubleshooting#

Cannot Create Drop Zone
If creation fails:
Check your active drop zone limit
Ensure your plan supports additional zones
