Update Profile

Update your personal profile information to ensure your identity is accurate across the WatchDog platform.
Who can use this feature?
All Account Owners, Security Admins and End Users
Available on the Free, Core and Business plans

Update Profile Information#

Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.

Open Settings
Navigate to User Profile > Settings.

Select General Tab
Click on the General tab within the Settings page.

Update Avatar
Click on your avatar to upload or change your profile picture.

Edit Name Fields
Update your First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name fields as needed.

Save Changes
Click Save Changes to apply your updates.

What Happens Next#

Your updated profile information is reflected across the platform immediately.
Your avatar appears in activity logs, assignments, and collaboration views.
Other users see your updated name in shared features and workflows.

Troubleshooting#

Profile Changes Not Saving
If your updates are not saving:
Ensure you clicked Save Changes
Check that all required fields are completed
Refresh the page and try again
Avatar Upload Not Working
