Manage Risk Lifecycle
Who can use this feature?
| All Account Owners and Security Admins | |
| Any End Users assigned as an owner to one or more risks | |
| Available on the Free, Core and Business plans |
Archive A Risk
Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.
Open Risk Management
Select Risk Management from the left-hand navigation.
Locate Risk
Find the risk you want to archive in the risk register.
Archive Risk
Click the archive icon under Action beside the risk.
What Happens Next
The risk is removed from the active risk register.
The risk is preserved in an archived state.
Archived risks do not impact active risk tracking.
Unarchive A Risk
Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.
Open Risk Management
Select Risk Management from the left-hand navigation.
Show Archived Risks
Enable Show Archived Risks to view archived items.
Open Risk Menu
Click the 3 dots beside the archived risk.
Unarchive Risk
Select Unarchive to restore the risk.
Delelete A Archived Risk
Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.
Open Risk Management
Select Risk Management from the left-hand navigation.
Show Archived Risks
Enable Show Archived Risks to view archived items.
Open Risk Menu
Click the 3 dots beside the archived risk.
Unarchive Risk
Select Delete to delete the risk.
What Happens Next
The risk is restored to the active risk register.
The risk becomes visible in standard views and filters.
All previous risk data and history remain intact.
