Upload Files

Open Secure File Exchange
Navigate to
Secure File Exchange
from the main navigation menu.

Open Drop Zone
Select an active drop zone.

Upload Files
Click
Upload
and select files to add to the drop zone.
Edit Drop Zone Details

Open Drop Zone
Select an active drop zone.

Navigate to Drop Zone Settings
Select the
Settings (Gear Icon)
to open the Drop Zone Settings.

Edit Details
Update the
name
or
message
of the drop zone.

Save Changes
Apply your updates.
Share Guest Link
#
Guest links should only be shared with external users who do not have a WatchDog account.

Navigate to
Secure File Exchange
from the main navigation menu.

Open Drop Zone
Select an active drop zone.

Navigate to Drop Zone Settings
Select the
Settings (Gear Icon)
to open the Drop Zone Settings.

Copy Guest Link
Click
Copy Guest Link
to share external access.
Manage Users & Permissions

Navigate to
Secure File Exchange
from the main navigation menu.

Open Drop Zone
Select an active drop zone.

Open Members Panel
Select the
Members (User Icon)
to open the Drop Zone Members list.

Add or Remove Users
Add or remove users to control access to the drop zone.

Assign Permissions
Assign the appropriate role based on the level of access required.
Permission Levels

Drop Zone Owner
Full control of the drop zone, including deletion. This role is automatically assigned to the creator.
Manager
Content Manager
Contributor
Viewer
Delete Drop Zone

Open Secure File Exchange
Navigate to
Secure File Exchange
from the main navigation menu.

Open Drop Zone
Select an active drop zone.

Navigate to Drop Zone Settings
Select the
Settings (Gear Icon)
to open the Drop Zone Settings.

Delete Drop Zone
Click
Delete
to remove the drop zone.

Confirm Deletion
Confirm the action when prompted.
View Logs

Select an active drop zone.

Settings (Gear Icon)
to open the Drop Zone Settings.

Review Activity
View file uploads, downloads, and access activity.
What Happens Next
#
Files are immediately available to authorized users.
External users can access files using the guest link.
All actions are recorded in activity logs for auditing.
Troubleshooting
#
Cannot Upload Files
If uploads fail:
Check file size limits
Verify available storage
Users Cannot Access Files
Unable to Delete Drop Zone
