Assigning Courses using WatchDog University

The Assigning Courses feature in WatchDog University allows administrators to assign cybersecurity awareness training to users within their organization. Assigning courses ensures employees receive the appropriate training and enables administrators to track progress and completion across the organization.
Who can use this feature?
All Account Owners and Security Admins
Available on the Core and Business plans
Available on the Free plan with limitations

How to Assign a Course#

Only a subset of WatchDog University courses are available on the Free Plan

Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.

Navigate to WD University
Select WD University from the left navigation menu.

Go To Library
Select the Library tab within WD University.

Choose A Course
Find the course you want to assign.

Assign Course
Click Assign Course.

Select Users
Select the users you want to enroll in the course.

Select Due Date
Using the date selector choose when you want the course to be completed by.

Assign Course
Select Assign to enroll the selected users to the following course!

What Happens Next#

The selected users are enrolled in the course.
The course will appear in the user's Enrolled tab
Users can begin the course immediately.
Administrators can monitor progress using the Courses Log.

Troubleshooting#

Course Cannot Be Assigned
If a course cannot be assigned:
Verify the course is available in your current WatchDog plan
Some courses are only available on Core or Business plans
If you already purchased a WatchDog Security Package, ensure you are assigned the license via the User Management Page
