Downloading a Certificate of Completion

After successfully completing a course in WatchDog University, users can download a PDF Certificate of Completion. These certificates can be used as proof of training completion and may be shared internally or externally for compliance and audit purposes.
Who can use this feature?
All Account Owners and Security Admins
Available on the Free, Core and Business plans

Download Certificates for Users#

Certificates can only be downloaded for completed courses. If a course status is Not Started or In Progress, the certificate will not be available.

Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.

Navigate to WD University
Select WD University from the left navigation menu.

Go To The Course Log
Select the Course Log tab within WD University.

Select A Course
Select the Course you want to review.

Locate User
Locate the User in the course log.

View Certificate
Click the certificate icon beside the user to download their certificate.

What Happens Next#

A PDF certificate is generated and downloaded to your device.
The certificate confirms the user’s successful completion of the course.
Certificates can be shared or stored as compliance evidence.

Troubleshooting#

Certificate Not Available
Certificates are only available when a course status is Completed. If the course status is Not Started or In Progress, the certificate cannot be downloaded.
