All changes made in this view immediately affect how your Trust Center appears once Live mode is enabled.
Visibility Levels#
Visibility settings are used across frameworks, documents, policies, knowledge base, and subprocessors.These determine who can access each item.Content is accessible to anyone visiting your Trust Center.
Use Public for general trust signals (frameworks, high-level docs) and Approved Visitors for sensitive materials like reports or internal policies.
Accessing the Edit View#

Sign in to WatchDog Security

Navigate to Trust Center
Select Trust Center from the left navigation menu.

Edit Trust Center
Select Edit Trust Center within to open the Trust Center Editor
Update About Us Content#

Open About Us Editor
Locate the About Us section and click the edit icon to open the editor panel.

Modify Content
Use the rich text editor to update your organization’s description, including security posture, mission, or overview information.

Save Changes
Click Save to apply updates and reflect them in your Trust Center preview.
Frameworks#
Add Framework#

Open Framework Upload
Click the + button within the Frameworks section to begin adding a new framework.

Upload Framework Report
Upload the relevant framework report file (e.g., SOC 2 report).

Select Framework Type
Choose the appropriate framework from the dropdown list to categorize the uploaded report.

Configure Framework Details
Optionally configure:
Custom message describing the framework

Set Visibility Level
Select the appropriate visibility level (Public, Approved Visitors, or Do Not Share) based on how broadly this report should be accessible.

Save Framework
Click Save to publish the framework to your Trust Center.
Edit Framework#

Open Framework Options
Locate the framework card and click the menu (three dots) to open available actions.

Select Edit
Click Edit to open the framework configuration modal.

Update Framework Details
Modify uploaded file, message, or visibility settings as needed.

Save Updates
Click Update Framework to apply changes.
Remove Framework#

Open Framework Options
Locate the framework card and click the menu (three dots) to open available actions.

Remove Framework
Select Remove to delete the framework from your Trust Center.
Update Security Highlights#

Open Highlights Editor
Click the edit icon within the Security Highlights section.

Toggle Security Controls
Enable or disable specific highlights that represent your organization’s security capabilities.

Save Changes
Click Save Changes to update the displayed highlights.
Security highlights act as a quick summary for visitors — keep them aligned with your strongest controls.

Open Subprocessor Settings
Click the three-dot menu within the Subprocessors section.

Launch Configuration Panel
Select Configure Subprocessors to open the vendor selection interface.

Search and Select Vendors

Update Visibility
Toggle each vendor to Show or Hide depending on whether it should be visible externally.
Subprocessors are sourced directly from Vendor Management to ensure consistency across your platform.
Documents#
Upload Document#

Open Documents Section
Navigate to the Documents section within the Trust Center editor.

Start Upload Process
Click Upload Document to open the upload modal.

Upload File
Select and upload the document file from your system.

Configure Visibility
Choose the appropriate visibility level depending on access requirements.

Save Document
Confirm the upload to make the document available in your Trust Center.
Sync Documents#

Open Sync Settings
Click Sync Configuration within the Documents section.

Import Existing Documents
Select documents from your Document Center to sync into the Trust Center.

Confirm Sync
Apply the configuration to import selected documents.
Syncing documents reduces duplication and ensures consistency across compliance and Trust Center content.
Share Policies#

Open Policies Section
Navigate to the Policies section.

Select Policy
Locate the policy you want to share from the list of available policies.

Configure Visibility
Set the visibility level (Public, Approved Visitors, or Do Not Share).

Apply Changes
Save or confirm the selection to publish the policy.
Knowledge Base#
Add Knowledge Base Item#

Start Knowledge Base Entry
Click Add Knowledge Base within the Knowledge Base section.

Enter Question
Provide the question or topic that external users may ask.

Provide Answer
Write a clear and informative response.

Assign Tags
Add relevant tags to categorize the entry.

Set Visibility
Choose who can access this content.

Save Entry
Click Add Knowledge Base to publish.
Updates#
Add Update#

Create New Update
Click Updates + to begin creating a new update.

Enter Update Details
Provide a name and select the appropriate category.

Set Publish Date
Choose when the update should be visible.

Write Description
Enter the update content that will be shown to users.

Save Update
Click Add Update to publish.
Customize Public View#
Show / Hide Sections#

Open Public View Settings
Expand the Customize Public View panel in the right side menu

Toggle Sections
Enable or disable sections such as Frameworks, Documents, Policies, Knowledge Base, and others.

Apply Changes
Changes are applied immediately to your Trust Center layout.
Update Colors#

Select Heading Color
Choose a color for section headings to match your branding.

Select Accent Color
Choose an accent color used across buttons and highlights.
Approval Configuration#

Open Approval Settings
Expand the Approval Configuration panel.

Enable Approval Requirements
Toggle settings such as:
Require approval for access
Require approval for subprocessors

Set Re-Approval Duration
Define how frequently users must re-request access.

Save Configuration
Apply changes to enforce access controls.
Activate Trust Center#
Enable Live Mode#

Locate Live Toggle
Find the Inactive / Live toggle in the Trust Center header.

Activate Trust Center
Switch the toggle to Live to make your Trust Center publicly accessible.
What Happens Next#
Your Trust Center becomes accessible via the public profile URL.
Visibility settings immediately control what content external users can access.
Approval settings determine access to restricted content.

Trust Center is in Live mode
