Manage User Access

Manage User Access lets administrators maintain user details and application roles after a user has been added to the tenant. Use this area to keep user records accurate and ensure each person has the right level of access.
Who can use this feature?
All Account Owners and Security Admins
Available on the Free, Core and Business plans

Manage User Access#

Sign in to WatchDog Security
Sign in to the WatchDog Security Platform.

Open User Management
Navigate to Management > Users from the main navigation menu.

Locate User
Find the user in the User list.

Open Actions Menu
Click the Actions menu beside the user.

Edit User
Select the edit option to update user details or role.

Save Changes
Save the updates to apply the changes.

What Happens Next#

User details are updated in the tenant.
Role changes take effect after the update is saved.
The user continues to appear in the User list with the updated information.

Troubleshooting#

Cannot Edit User
If edits are not saving:
Ensure you have Account Owner or Security Admin access
Check that all required fields are completed
Retry the update after refreshing the page
Role Change Does Not Appear
