User Events

Control default notification settings for users across the platform and define whether users can override their own notification preferences.

Who can use this feature?

	All Account Owners and Security Admins
	Available on the Free, Core and Business plans

Configure User Events

Open Settings

Navigate to User Profile > Settings

Open Notifications Tab

Select the Notifications tab.

Open User Events

Click Configure User Profile under User Events.

Toggle User Override

Enable or disable Allow User Override.

Configure Event Categories

Expand categories such as Inventory, Risk Management, or Compliance Center.

Enable Notifications

Enable or disable notifications using the Email, and/or Slack toggle.

Save Changes

Click Save Changes.

Default notification settings apply to all users in the organization.

Users can override settings only if override is enabled.

Changes are enforced immediately across all user accounts.

Users Cannot Change Notifications

If users cannot modify notifications:

Ensure Allow User Override is enabled

Only Account Owners or Security Admins can control this setting
